Back in 1973, I attended a taping of The Dick Allen at the studio of Channel 44 in Chicago. Dick’s co-host was sportswriter Rick Talley. When UHF was king! @phitter72.bsky.social @billpearch.bsky.social @heavyjstudios.bsky.social @ckamka.bsky.social @seank138.bsky.social @southsidesox.bsky.social

Redid the 1988 Topps Vin Scully in color. I don't have a lot of experience with colored pencils. It's a work in progress...

Big mail day.

Got remaining 2 stickers to complete 1985 Topps Stickers

Got remaining 3 stickers to complete 1985 Fleer Star Stickers

1986, 1987 & 1988 Drake's sets.

They stuck with the 1985 Topps card back style for all 3 sets.

I love that on the back, it shows all the varieties of Drake's cakes on which the cards could be found.

From 1986-88, Fleer made a 120-card "Classic Miniature" set.

And the best thing about them - they used different photos from the regular sized set.

Fleer was the best.

More football cards I loved.

1994 Action Packed Quarterback Club. I remember trying to make my own with aluminum foil. It didn't work.
