I’m starved for real Mets news. Avoiding arbitration doesn’t do it for me. Neither do reports that Mets are connected to every free agent. I almost think even a bad move would help. We could spend time bemoaning it.

2025 sucked for the Mets. There's no question about that. But Mets fans acting like 1) Cohen & Stearns are Satan 2) spring training starts tomorrow and 3) the pre-Stearns era was a golden age of back 2 back WS wins exhaust the hell out of me. The team needed to change. Let's see how it goes #LGM

I've been attending Met games since Jesse Gonder was catching Jack Fisher with Joe Christopher in the outfield. The game has, and continues to change. For better and for worse. We now root for uniforms as much as players. It's a mercenary's game and big business, but it's still beautiful. #LGM

I’m ok with trading Nimmo, though he was a favorite. I worry about Semien. Bat has disappeared, coming off injury. Benefit of doubt to Stearns for now.

Great game. Great debut by Tong. But what a classless, not to mention dumb move by Mendoza. Insult to Marlins, disrespect for fans who paid to see real baseball for 9 innings.
