Maybe I need a scooter
I love him. “The first time I caught up to [ICE], I could tell that they already knew who I was. They had seen me before, so they thought they were just going to speed away. I was like, ‘Ha ha, bitches, I got a new scooter!’”

Get your goddamn flu shot. And your Covid shot too.
The US may be headed for a rough flu season, with a virus that causes more severe symptoms than the one last year and seems to be spreading more rapidly and earlier than usual.

Deep fake created by the campaign of Mike Collins, Republican candidate for ossoff’s senate seat. Desperation drives shamelessness I suppose.
Jon Ossoff warned about deepfakes. Now he is one.
A Mike Collins campaign video uses AI to make Sen. Jon Ossoff say outlandish things. A proposed state law would rein in such uses of AI in campaigns.

This headline changed twice after it was posted. Two thoughts: 1- who is this Helen Andrews and what trauma did she suffer? And 2- I have proudly been ruining workplaces for 36 years and in 5 weeks I am retiring so that I can get busy ruining the rest of the places. Watch out.

CONFIRMED: Georgia Democrats have won their first statewide elections for non-federal offices since *2006.*

The two Dem challengers, Alicia Johnson and Peter Hubbard, have ousted two GOP Republican commissioners on the state's utility commission.

Georgia: With most of the early vote tallied, the margin for the two Democrats that appear set to flip statewide Public Service Commission is (for now) about 20 points.

Even with final margin TBD + caveats about the unusual electorate situation, it's a strong sign for Ds.
