Maduro is a brutal and oppressive dictator of Venezuela.

Trump has no legitimate legal basis for military action against Venezuela under United States or international law.

Both of those facts are simultaneously true.

If Nicolás Maduro stands trial in the United States and gets convicted of 34 felonies, does that mean he’s qualified to be our next president now?

Just checking what the standards are these days.

I hope we get a war crimes tribunal that loves convicting Donald Trump as much as Donald Trump loves kidnapping brown people.

And fast, like yesterday.

Like Assad was, right?
There is a strange thing where the US president is above the law in the US now due to Supreme Court rulings.. but now a foreign leader who has been kidnapped is going to tried in the US.

The UK government is allowing itself to be bullied, undermined, and dictated to by China.

‘China’s threat to cancel the talks, according to two well-placed UK sources briefed on the discussions, came after Alexander visited Taipei on 29 and 30 June and met the Taiwanese president, Lai Ching-te’.

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.
