i know there are a lot of ppl who view civic engagement (protest/calling your senator) as non-revolutionary and that's true. but they are very useful for making the status quo frustrated & miserable. protests can turn into resistance, calls can give feckless politicians cold feet. do these things.

Minneapolis and Saint Paul have basically mobilized into a war economy of mutual aid and non-violent defense. I’ve never seen anything like it, even during Covid. People who barely vote are guarding their schools from ICE and doing the shopping for neighbors in hiding.
This is so smart. I’m so impressed with all the different ways you’re helping your neighbors.

ICE agents in Minneapolis detained a female protester and while she was in custody, removed her bra and some of her clothes and cut off her wedding ring. Some of her clothes were not returned. This sounds like they were preparing to do something to her, and it wasn't reading her the Miranda warning.
