Yet again, the structures and funding for medical education in England are being reorganised.

Will anything be learned from the successes and follies of previous rounds of musical chairs?

Why do men bike more than women in many countries?

A new study from Spain shows that the construction of a connected network of high-quality protected bike lanes helps to close this gender gap.

When we fail to build protected bike lanes, we keep women from riding bikes.

Separated bike lanes especially benefit women:

"The findings revealed a notable increase in the utilisation of segregated lanes, with a more significant impact observed among women than among men."

When I started out as a junior doctor in the 1980s, it was quite common to bring people back after discharge to check on their progress.

They came back to the “SHO” clinic a week or two later. This practice is uncommon now so I was interested to read this snippet in the @bmj.com.
