TIFF so far: 16 films watched, caught festival lurgy, finally secured a same day ticket for once and just burned my tongue eating a pizza slice before running to queue for my next film. Pretty much the standard experience.

So true. One scene had me laughing so hard I nearly threw up.
Bad Trip is one of the funniest movies of the current century, if not ever, and it's a tragedy that the pandemic robbed it of full theaters of people crying with laughter. If you've never seen it, watch it with as many friends as possible.
Recent one but me and my friends were on acid watching Bad Trip for the first time and laughed to tears at this turn of phrase

Another GFF in the books. A wild ride with ups and downs but the feedback from audiences and good times shared with this team fill my heart with such joy. Who knows what’s next for me and the festival with changes coming but here’s hoping I’ll be along for the ride. GFF forever x

Tonight will forever be a memory burned into my brain. Toni Collette showed up for our Muriel’s Wedding pop up event at #gff25. So happy to share this moment with the team and our amazing audience. All other film festivals, just give up. We have completed it mate.

Looking for recommendations @glasgowfilmfest.bsky.social then you could start with the witty, very entertaining Peacock starring Albrecht Shuch ( All Quiet On The Western Front). Screens on Sunday March 2nd at 5.15pm and there are only a few tickets left.

Did you know: this little guy you can see around the cinema to this day is Mr Cosmo – a figure who appeared on posters and ads for the cinema back in the 1940s when we were called The Cosmo.

He'd also appear on screen before each feature, in a guise appropriate for the genre.

Haven’t stopped thinking about this since I saw it. A film that gets under your skin and haunts you. A must watch in my humble opinion.
Ready to be glued to the edge of your seat with Jason Buxton’s tense psychological thriller Sharp Corner, starring Ben Foster?

Our screening on 1 March will be followed by a Q&A with director Jason Buxton. Join us for an evening of cinematic magic.

True sacrifice is agreeing to rewatch Squid Game dubbed so my partner, who hates subtitles, can catch up before the new season drops. Thus locking me in to watching season 2 dubbed also.
