Democracy has been co-opted - the system is no longer "for the people." The rich are protected by the law but not bound by it. The poor are bound by the law but not protected by it. This is oligarchy.

The algorithms are fucking us. Through our YouTube feeds, Tiktok scrolls, to our Google search results. Each of us is fed a separate reality. The architects of these programs only need to push the needle in one direction or the other to get us to do whatever they want.

When I asked here earlier who the leader of the Dems was in 2017-2020, I got a whole range of answers. I find that comforting - we were able to win then without a single person at front because we *all* stepped up to the front.
Teachers teach. We need a leaderful movement, and there are leaders all around us.
