Finished this 2 days ago and it's unequivocally my favorite read of 2025. Horrifying and heartbreaking and one that will stay with you long after you've finished it. Highest of recommendations!

100 pages into this masterpiece, easily will be my favorite read of 2025. Much like Tananarive Due did with The Reformatory, blending history with horror, this book is simply enthralling. Gives a whole new spin on vampires much like Anne Rice did with Interview. Highest of recommendations!
