Maybe we need to train on a farm so Gordon and Willock can practice shooting against barn doors 🤪🤪 #NUFC

He was always that. I worked in a pub frequented by a labour MP back in the late nineties, and she hated him. I remember her rolling her eyes and telling me they called him The Prince of Darkness
I can't help thinking Mandelson was appointed *because* he was The Prince of Darkness - an alleged master of the dark arts, which, back then, was arguably going to be needed in spades in the Court of King Trump.
"In retrospect Prime Minister, was his nickname of The Prince of Darkness not a tiny bit of a red flag?"

Watch this.
Kudos to Andrew Marr for pointing out the elephant in the room. There's now a heap of evidence that Epstein was working hand in glove with Putin's regime. And with the Putin-aligned far right in Europe & the UK.

He was a lynchpin in this global network of fascist kleptocracy.

1. In 2009 I wrote this. I argued that Peter Mandelson's department “functions as a fifth column within government, working for corporations to undermine democracy and the public interest.”
This thread explains what I saw, and reaches a startling conclusion.🧵

makes sense seeing 25/26 as transition. Save the powder for summer. 5 yrs rebuilding/stabilising base, now turn to squad 'ceiling' with a big £200-250m push. Sell to old/new players as phase 2 w/Hopkinson/Wilson + EH record of UCL knockouts/CC. That's what I'd do if I was playing FM26 #NUFC
Makes total sense not spending in Jan. Getting a less than ideal defender up to speed when no training time would probs take until March? Why not wait the extra 2 months & do full squad surgery without crowbarring in less than perfect players #NUFC

Great 🧵
There was a genesis to this phenomenon I've never seen spoken about.

8-10 years ago I used to be in a lot of online hobby spaces. They had long had a 'optimisation culture' where a many folk didn't do stuff guided by enjoyment, but by following an 'optimal' path....

Lab can't go after his blatant jingoism because that would preclude them from tracking Reform and occuoying the same anti-immigrant space

Holy cow. FINALLY came up with a thesis title and submitted examiner nomination form today.

Dunno how I've done it. A journey that's taken in ADHD diagnosis, death of Dad, separation, house move, & single parenting. Crazy time. Going to be very strange when I'm not wrestling it anymore #phdsky
