It’s comforting (I know!) to comb through every line of these complaints for proof of how flimsy or out-of-bounds the arguments are—but do so knowing that the filing and the fear it can provoke in media outlets’ lawyers is the point
You know that Musk/X and Trump/Truth Social are just trying to make it impossibly expensive to do reporting, if you can be sued and have to hire lawyers for just ... doing reporting.

Ironically, this sort of attack is a version of Jewish antisemitism. It needs to be roundly rejected.
