Dems need to be pumping out as many "amendments" to the bill as possible... use ChatGPT to write bullshit, if needed. Just create an endless stream of never ending amendments and tie this vote-a-rama up for the entire presidency, if needed!

It’s hard not to feel hollowed out by what the United States is becoming.

Cruelty isn’t just a byproduct of policy anymore, it is the policy.

And behind that cruelty?

Always money. Always profit. Always power concentrated in fewer and fewer hands.

A friendly reminder to protect those furry paws!☀️🐾☀️

🍳An egg can fry in just 5 minutes at 131°F!
🌡️When it’s 86°F outside, asphalt can reach a scorching 135°F!

If it’s too hot for bare feet, it’s too hot for dog’s paws.🚫

Tip: Walk early & late, test the pavement with your hand!

I worked at Planned Parenthood.

They diagnose cancers while still treatable. They help women decide what birth control works for them. They help those working through mental health challenges.

Defunding them just harms people who already struggle to find places to get care.

This is the darkest time in our nation since the Civil War. The right is radicalized at Berlin 1941 levels and many Americans are celebrating cruelty and lawlessness masquerading as power.

It is time for an awakening of morality, decency and public resistance to evil.

Pro-Life, really? "Women living in abortion-ban states are nearly 2x as likely to die during pregnancy, childbirth or soon after giving birth..." and "Maternal mortality rose 56% in Texas in the first full year of the state's abortion ban." (from the summer print issue of @msmagazine.com)

No, atheists don't really care. We aren't obsessed with anybody's sex life. That's Christians you're thinking of.
Looks like a perfectly good future to me 🤷

So what is it, Dems? Are you just as enamored with white males in power? Because that KKK shit is done.
As I said two weeks ago, the Dem establishment would rather burn down the entire party than let Mamdani become mayor of NYC. I fear they will scorch the Earth, even if it means losing races, rather than rally behind him. I also fear for his safety, considering credible death threats have increased.

A war against white supremacy.
Keep this in mind.

It’s not left versus the right. It’s the bottom versus top. Blue or red, it doesn't matter. We are in a Class War.

It's incredible that neither the president nor VP was here. The politicization of all facets of American life is coming from the White House. No other American president would have failed to pay their respects. www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2025/...

After a hug with Kamala Harris, Gov. Tim Walz eulogized slain state Rep. Melissa Hortman as “the most consequential speaker in Minnesota history.”

America wasn't all that great then, either. But okay.
I was born in 1969. I grew up in an America that was not TRUMPLICA FUCKLICA. People today are fucking CLUELES how great America actually was before MAGA and TRUMP. They are fucking brainwashed, brainless, idiots.

Such a good point on SCOTUS hypocrisy when it comes to Trump vs Biden:

They let a nationwide injunction kill Biden’s student loan relief when they had a chance to rule on it.

5 months into Trump’s presidency, suddenly nationwide injunctions are a grave threat to executive power and they must rule.

Perfect.
If Christian Nationalist parents are allowed to have their kids opt-out of any books that dare mention anyone gay, then all the other parents should be allowed to let their kids opt-out from the Ten Commandments.

@jbpritzker.bsky.social if this becomes true, can we just keep the federal taxes paid by Illinoisans and provide services directly? I trust your morals and senses of equity and empathy far more...
So am I reading this court decision correctly? We now have 50 micronations with their own laws interpreting the U.S. Constitution wholly separate from one another? But there's one guy with private law enforcement who is immune from all punishment who can do whatever he wants in those 50 states?

If the Supreme Court thinks universal injunctions are unconstitutional, to wait until *now* to say that, in this of all cases, with this of all presidents, is a devastating indictment of both its impartiality and its prudence.
