Natural gas energy is not only expensive and inflationary, the price residential customers pay varies by 100% throughout the the year. One reason is we export 20% of our gas and the export market is volatile. Trumps want to double our exports. www.canarymedia.com/articles/liq...

🚨 BREAKING: Trump is moving to eliminate the EPA’s Endangerment Finding — one of the strongest legal tools we have to fight climate pollution.

We will fight this. Polluters should pay — not the public. Read more at our statement bit.ly/4aNcAwb

The Tennessee Valley Authority has announced plans to potentially roll back retirement dates for the Kingston and Cumberland coal plants, locking the region into coal energy for years to come. These inefficient coal plants will only add more burden to our budgets and pollute our communities.

Please @peters.senate.gov and @slotkin.senate.gov NO CR for DHS. Don’t let America forget.
Thune’s plan has been obvious - drag this out as long as possible to put distance between the Pretti/Good murders and the final vote on DHS funding, hoping that the American public moves on. Senate Dems will never have more leverage for ICE reforms than they do right now.

The Army Corp of Engineers has released their environmental impact statement on Enbridge’s Line 5 tunnel. It will require the excavation of 665,000 cubic yards of bedrock, enough to fill in Kent Lake at Kensington Metropark on the border of Oakland and Livingston County.

Meet “Coalie”, the Trump administration’s mascot for its so-called American Energy Dominance Agenda. I don’t know what’s more troubling…the fists, the doe eyes, or the quizzical smirk. As a reminder, coal costs 2x solar or wind.

A judge has sided with DTE over St Clair County on solar panel siting. It’s bittersweet to agree with DTE but the County’s health regulations about “visual pollution” were just disguised zoning regulations. We need more solar energy in Michigan.

Turns out the unthinking use of tear gas and pepper spray is a lot like the unthinking use of coal and methane energy production. Both discriminate against the lesser among us. Both represent a dehumanizing othering of people who we wrongly think are not like us. www.sciencenews.org/article/tear...

Please excuse me some schadenfreude. Trump has had to delay the reversal of EPA’s bedrock endangerment finding that greenhouse gases are a public health threat. His White House staff say the EPA’s proposal is slipshod. The EPA says mind your own business. Now children! (ClimateDepot.com 1/29/2026)

The Fix Our Forest Act is a FRAUD! The timber industry claims they will only “thin” our forests to reduce fire risk. But this decreases humanity, increases wind, raises temperatures and adds dry grass fuels all of which will increase fire risk by 3x to 5x.

This isn't about "training issues." The murderer who executed Renee Good has been with ICE for 10 years, and according to DHS, the murderer who executed Alex Pretti has been there for 8 years.

These aren't "new recruits," or officers that can be "retrained." ICE can't be reformed. Abolish ICE.
