Not all that interesting. Loves theatre, Gilbert & Sullivan, Sherlock Holmes and all things woke. That photo was taken at Hilltop Park in Signal Hill, CA.
2:25 P.M. at Hilltop. 68F and there's just a light layer of haze over Palos Verdes. Snagged a spot in the small parking lot. A few people at the overlook and a few relaxing on the grass. No doggos, dagnabbit. I had PT earlier, but I still managed one lap around the circular path.

Drove to Hilltop but there was no parking anywhere. People are taking advantage of the nice weather (65F and clear skies.) So I'm home again, using the heating pad on my wretched back. We're expecting another round of rain starting Sunday night. Not looking forward to it. 😕🌧️

Boom. Rep. Balint didn't even skip a beat.

I didn't think it possible for me to dislike (read "hate") anyone more than I do Kristi Noem, but Pam Bondi is rapidly catching up.

12:30 P.M. at Hilltop. 63F with cloudy skies and a cool breeze. Just one doggo, a lovely light brown spaniel. Several groups lunching at various picnic tables. I did manage one lap around the circular path, often going quite a few steps without stopping. The path is slanted so it's a bit of a chore.

3:20 P.M. at Hilltop. 65F with a rather strong breeze. I decided to skip the circular path and head for the overlook. There I met a very cute little doggo, perhaps a Yorkie mix, named Emma! Several other doggos here and there, including a gorgeous and I mean GORgeous, Golden Retriever. Rain is due!

Ooooo, can Lindsey Graham play Lee?
Yes please!
Next Superbowl halftime should include a recreation of the confederate surrender at Appomattox while Jefferson Davis flees the scene dressed as an old lady.

I don’t know who’s luckier, Teddy or his hoomans. Happy, happy family!

1:30 P.M. at Hilltop. 80F and the haze over Palos Verdes is pretty light. Just a gentle breeze blowing. Lots of people at the overlook and on the grass. Ice cream truck is here and folks are partaking. One lovely doggo, a beautiful brown spaniel. Managed one lap around the circular path.

3:30 P.M. at Hilltop. 73F with a blustery breeze. Lots of people including a young couple flying a kite.🪁 No doggos, boo! One staggering lap around the circular path.

“Intergalactically” LOLOLOL!!!!
JD Vance absolutely should be booed -- domestically, internationally, intergalactically -- wherever he goes for the rest of his life.

Nice try, Jack. 😉
The crowd at the Olympics was not booing JD Vance. If you’ve ever been at a sporting event where they yell Coop or Lou it sounds very similar. They were yelling JD.

2:50 P.M. at Hilltop. 68F with a light breeze. Very clear sky to the east, but the usual haze over Palos Verdes and downtown Long Beach. Had PT today so I skipped the circular path and headed to the overlook. Met a very cute terrier named Coco. "I adopted him three months ago," said his hooman. Yay!

3:15 P.M. at Hilltop. 73F with a pretty strong breeze. I had to watch my step, boy howdy! A group of runners starting off toward the long path. Just one doggo, a fluffy little guy who took umbrage at my presence. The ice cream truck showed up just as I was leaving. One lap around the circular path.

Good lord, it’s a clown car!
Of course there’s a chase …
Coming up on #KTLA: Among the massive cuts being made to the Washington Post, the paper, owner by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, is closing its book section. Is there a more self-defeating move than the country's largest book seller getting rid of book reviews?

2:00 P.M. at Hilltop. 81F with hardly a breeze in sight. A few people at the overlook. A young couple is sitting on the grass with their two kids, one a hooman and one a doggo. The hooman is a tiny little thing. The doggo is an adorable small Bulldog. Did one lap around the circular path, barely.

2:20 P.M. at Hilltop. 71F with a nice breeze. Large group at one of the picnic tables, sharing food & laughs. A man is playing soccer with two small lads. No lizards or boids & just one doggo. He's a shepherd & is totally ignoring me. Had PT today but still managed one lap around the circular path.

10:30 A.M. at Hilltop. 76F with clear skies. Glad I came down early; there was parking available in the small lot. Just one doggo, a cute little terrier with his hoomans. A lot of young people wearing matching shirts. I think they're part of a running team. Managed one lap around the circular path.
