I was nervous when I started sharing political content years ago. I used to be very quiet and shy; I had years of ingrained fawning behavior and social anxiety that made me terrified of upsetting anyone. Now I'm a lot stronger, I am no longer afraid to speak out and stand against hate and violence
On Threads/IG/etc, people are posting anti-ICE messages prefaced like “this is an art account, but” while followers unfollow or complain about them “getting political.”
I love that Bluesky doesn’t make me feel pressured to explain my humanity.

It's amazing seeing even the most neutral of accounts/channels taking a stand against I.C.E. People I thought would never get into news or politics finally doing so. It's serious when EVERYONE is speaking out. We stand together ✊️

This year just keeps hitting me hard. It's difficult enough in planning my dog's end of life care, stress over new job and bills, then my grandfather died today. Due to bad relationships I had to be the one to inform many family members. At least he's free of pain after fighting cancer for 10 years.

I once saw a short that claimed people tend to fashion their frames as dark and edgy or pastel and sparkly with no in between. I do both.

I'm really happy that the answer is we cannot consent to anything or help in any way. Give them no info, they can't search. Ya, fuck ICE!

I've been sick 🤒, started my new office job, and dealing with a lot of life BS 🚗💥. Also I'm out of meds and my pharmacy is very behind 💊.
I want to do art but everytime I pick up a pencil all of my energy and inspiration dies 😖
I haven't even felt like gaming 🎮
This feels worse than art block.
