Reform’s policies only help the wealthy few, in terms of Jaywick the ‘few’ is just one person, Nigel Farage.
Farage earns more than any other MP for NOT being an MP. He says it’s “obviously sad” that part of his constituency is the most deprived area in England.
But everything he’s ever done, said and wanted has made sure of it.
This is the whole country if he gets into power.

A section of the population being “shocked” by the content of the Epstein emails, whilst also knowing that the self confessed pussy grabber, and adjudicated rapist Trump has numerous sexual assault allegations against him, is classic 2025.

When you are feeling super patriotic, but your Temu flag order is going to take too long and you just can’t wait, so you improvise.

Supporting a foreign criminal and best mate of Epstein, over a Great British institution?

That seems a bit unpatriotic to me.
Jacob-Rees Mogg supports President Trump's right to sue the BBC

He then repeatedly asks Gillian Tett questions but doesn't let her reply, so Victoria Derbyshire has to step in and tell him off

At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, I genuinely feel like we are entering a battle for the soul of this nation.

We need strong voices, and even stronger characters to stand up against the darkness.

We need a Luke, a Leia, or even a Han Solo.

Currently we have C3PO in charge.

I like what Starmer said today.

I would have liked it even more a few months ago.

I would have loved it if I truly thought he was saying it from an authentic standpoint, and not just because strategists have given him the ok.

Racism returning to UK politics – and people are very scared, says Starmer
PM attacks ‘toxic division of Reform’ and gives strongest signal yet that two-child benefit cap will be lifted

Local “patriot” paints Union Jack on the side of their rubbish bin.

Is this not a bit disrespectful?

This is no time to attack the BBC. It’s a time to defend it.

Does anyone remember when Farage et al were complaining about Obama meddling in our politics over his Brexit comments?

He said Obama behaved “disgracefully “, and that “Vladimir Putin behaved in a more statesmanlike manner than President Obama did in this referendum campaign. “

WTF are we doing?

It’s totally bizarre that people vote for Farridge and often claim it’s because he isn’t a politician!

How long do you have to be doing a job before you can identify as being a member of that profession?

Do you you have to spend a decade working at a bakery before people refer to you as a baker?
Nigel Farage currently railing against Parliament being full of "professional politicians".

He founded UKIP in 1993 and was first elected as an MEP in 1999, twenty-six years ago. Less than 5% of current MPs (31 to be precise) have a longer career in politics than Farage. ~AA

Even the UK’s most deprived town has its upside.

Jaywick has more than its share of issues, but the beach and the views are stunning.

We are always being told what a state the UK is in by those who made it so.

We need to try and improve and invest, not demonise and belittle.

I like to have a joke, and a bit of a muck about on here. But this really turns my stomach.

Those poor women.

Everyone of them. The ones he is disparaging, and the ones he is manipulating. None of them deserve this.

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

The new Lily Allen album is absolutely magnificent. It’s impossible to exaggerate her influence over so many modern artistes and ‘West End Girl’ shows why. But my goodness it’s brutal. Tunes like nursery rhymes, lyrics like razor blades.

Lily Allen: West End Girl – a gobsmacking autopsy of marital betrayal
Allen’s first album in seven years traces the fallout from an open relationship, but as well as being cathartic and candid, these stylistically varied songs have melodies that sparkle

Can you imagine the frothing, unhinged headlines from the right wing press that would follow if Kier Starmer so much as changed the colour of the door to slate grey on No 10?

Essentially, Farridge is either lying about Russian bribes.
Or he’s telling the truth and he spouts pro Russian propaganda for free.
Perhaps for the LOLs? Or maybe because he genuinely thinks Putin is great.

It’s troubling whichever way you turn it.
