Today is the 30th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing

The mission statement of the memorial states, in part, “May all who leave here know the impact of violence.”

This photo is from last night, as it has been (appropriately) dreary and rainy today

The degree to which the script has completely flipped on low propensity voters is under appreciated

To win seats, Democrats used to wait around for 4 years until presidential elections, it’s completely the opposite now
RESULT: Democrats have flipped a state Senate seat in Pennsylvania.

Dem James Malone won by 1%, in a red district Trump won by 15%.

This is the second Dem legislative flip in 2025, after a red state Senate seat in Iowa earlier this year.

Last night our sweet friends at The Gelateria on South Grand suffered a major fire. Let's do something sweet for them this weekend. Today thru Sunday, 50% from every St. Louis Dog sold at our South Grand location will be donated to The Gelateria. Stop in all weekend to show them love! 🫶🏾 #STL

We did it — 68% approval in the primary is just the beginning!
It’s time to kick it into full gear and push forward to the general election which is just a few weeks away on April 8. I hope you’ll join us.

Truly outstanding piece on our beautiful and tragically neglected City Hall. The signs are mostly a ruse anyway. If you need an audience with your alderman, you won't find them at City Hall. You'll need an intro and the scoop on the day and at which church basement lunch s/he holds court.

I was thanked no less than five times by poll workers for coming in to vote at the Carpenter branch this morning. Low turnout, go vote

Also, these stickers are great

I’ve been told that Chippewa east of S Grand will be completely closed for 60 days. Working on getting a detour that makes sense and is cleared
As of this morning, Chippewa just east of S Grand is completely closed (appears to be construction for the new building planned for the corner but can’t quite tell)

The detour route is down Keokuk which is straight ice.. maybe let’s not send lots of cars and city buses down that way? Wait a week?

Recently had a USPS package going to a PO Box located at the Clayton Post Office. Out of curiosity (and because I happened to be in Clayton that day), I dropped it off inside at the counter

Took 7 days to be delivered
