A few weeks ago, I completed my first 'thing' of 2026 by drawing a tree !
Working for etched plates is always interesting. I've been experimenting with greyscales rather than binary black / white, and had to make a bunch of test swatches for us to pick from. ( Bottom-left was the winner, btw. )

Really wild situation here: a celebrated and well-regarded indie dev and publisher is facing shutdown because Valve banned their game from Steam and won't talk to them about it, at all.

I have the hardest time getting out of my own way and writing ugly and needed 1st draft words.
After two years of work on my novel, I've just realized that this problem disappears if I shift tenses. Present tense for 1st draft, past tense for final prose. Absolute magic.
