Do not normalize children dying from measles. Measles was previously eliminated in the US, thanks to vaccines.

When children die from measles, it means that adults have catastrophically failed to protect them because they have rejected basic science.

I’ve watched Adolescence twice now. Completely gutted both times. So real, so powerful. I have a few critiques but can’t remember the last time a show hit me so hard. I’m definitely not alone in this feeling.

These stories are always troubling and staff need to be protected at all costs. There is good evidence on implementing relational security practices to help reduce instances of violence, rather than a focus on physical and procedural security. It’s worth being part of these discussions.

The Somerset West Community Health Centre just closed its supervised consumption site on Friday, after being forced to by the Ford government.

As I said earlier this week, when we send police to people who are vulnerable & in mental heath crisis, we're making that person more vulnerable to experiencing a range of harms including death.

Tragically, 2 people died in Halifax this week during police interactions.

I am almost relieved that this happened in front of cameras for the whole world to witness. No more backrooms, no more facades of reasonableness or bargaining. We now know what side the United States is on, and in whose interests they’re acting. It isn’t their people’s, and it isn’t ours
