I spent over 6000 minutes (100 hours) listening to REM this year. Not even sure why. I’ve been a fan my whole life but this year was REM heavy. Midlife nostalgia, perhaps.

Used the extra hour this morning to go on a long walk with the pup. She has the energy of 35 dogs but is as sweet as can be. She turns 2 tomorrow. Happy birthday, sweet Poppy.

Daughter is doing a research project on the sea sheep (leaf sheep/leaf slug). Do yourself a favour and look at pictures of sea sheep. It’s the only known organism other than a plant that can photosynthesize.
