Feels like in everything I’m seeing that we’re going to get a shot of inflation with the one time tariff increases and a long chaser of recession.
This was a *very* bad report. Employment down, implies ~4% annualized core PCE, and demand is clearly weak given new orders.

Anecdotal evidence here, but my dad un-retired to go back and build data centers for oracle. They can’t find enough people.

I wish I were surprised but this is how every aspect of the Trump admin operates. Say x is actually y and then throw the full weight of the government behind making x look like y.
The Abrego Garcia fiasco keeps getting worse. The way Trump and the WH are bringing the full weight of their propaganda and legal machines to destroying this one day laborer is an extraordinary abuse of power.
