very weird to see people complain about content warnings as "spoilers" when they can 1) SKIP THEM and be normal and 2) the alternative of not including them leads to people having a terrible time with your book that they might not have otherwise so like. why NOT include them

Traditional publishing is already terrible at pushing Latine authors but boy are book boxes even worse. Stuff like this is why the vast majority of book boxes will not see my financial support

I love how I read The Devil Tales You Home a few weeks ago and I still have not stopped thinking about that book since. That is the sign of an amazing book for me.

If I want to hit my original goal for the year, I'm looking at having to read like 2-3 books a day so I don't think I will be reaching my original reading goal this year and that's fine. I'm just shocked by how quick the end of 2024 came.
