I am not at all surprised to see that I am on a block list called "Transphobes & Genocide Enthusiasts" both labels of which are totally defamatory & almost certainly my name is on that list because I criticised a person on X in 2024 for their behaviour, and they just so happen to be trans.

The most-discussed product here is an LG robot that can "fold laundry" but can't actually do it and takes 90 seconds to fail at the task. This product is not being released, and LG has been explicit that's the case. It is entirely built to mislead people. Every company doing this fucking sucks.

I’ve been reading Arendt’s Origins of Totalitarianism and her emphasis on how important the nature of the camps as places for people who had committed NO crime (the camps would’ve been empty almost immediately if criminal conviction had been necessary) is firmly on my mind.
NEW: Data released by ICE shows that virtually the entire growth of detention in the last few months has been among people with no criminal record at all - no prior convictions (no matter how minor) and no pending criminal charges.

“Hands off [country]” protests only work if there’s a reasonably sized workers state lying around with a nuclear arsenal and a large standing army that is at least somewhat trigger happy to rely on.

The people of Footscray are in luck in 2026. Since I have joined a high carbohydrate and high protein diet to my gym routine, my gluteus maximus (and other muscles!) have expanded exponentially, there are many tasteful pants that I can no longer fasten. I shall have no choice but to part with them.

Keep thinking about my Chilean co-worker that landed in Australia (Melbourne) in October. When I found out she’s yet to see other states etc I said “no need, it’s all downhill after Melbourne” to which she said many people have been telling her that. We are so good as a people in this city. 😏💅🏻
