1/4 for buses
1/4 for cars
1/4 for loading and parking
1/4 for bikes

Previous it was 1/2 cars, 1/2 parking, even though most people using the street used the bus, bike, or walking.

Use an online workshop or survey to let us know how to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists who use Telegraph Avenue while improving bus speed and reliability.The City is also seeking to integrate better truck and delivery loading zones on this section of Telegraph Avenue, which stretches from Dwight Way to Woolsey Street at the Oakland border. Options include bus-only lanes and bus stop improvements, physically protected and separated bike lanes, crosswalks, curb management, and other improvements.

CM @cecilialunaparra.bsky.social is up now! She says that rents in Berkeley are back to 2018 prices *because* the city has been building housing, and that the zoning status quo is what displaces people. The city needs to do more, and this ordinance is part of that.

In March and April, a vote on a proposal to close the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Trail on weekdays to people biking and walking was scheduled twice, then cancelled each time on short notice.
