This kind of scenario is exactly what the disabled community was warning about: MAID being used as a substitute for assistance or palliative care. MAID should never be pushed on patients seeking alternatives. One cannot consent to MAID if the alternatives are denied to them! Canada has to do better.

Yep, same. It's been nice to only feel flarey because of the weather and stress, not transmissible illness.
