a little impromptu sketch study
this is what I did today actually. obviously I won't post it because its Not My Art but I've been enjoying learning more from artists who I'm actually inspired by instead of feeling compelled to have to learn from old masters
the secret that art schools won't tell you is that you can do master studies for any artist. i'm not gonna be painting a da vinci anytime soon so I might as well study a round plane furry

it feels more fun to "sculpt" my drawings than to get them right the first time but I know that can't be a good habit considering I go over the lines so much. my brains just more used to the instant feedback I guess

my general goals for 2026 are to effectively study art of many different forms and to get myself onto more of a schedule/work ethic. no promises but I do want to release A Project of some kind (referring to something I spend more than a week or month on)
