So the vet says Lucy is a he rather than a she. So I'm thinking little "Lucy" kitten is henceforth little "Lucky" kitten. :))
Lucky was quite good art his very first vet appointment. He weights 3.7 pounds, seems healthy, and is about 3.5 months old.
He's been "here" less than 2 weeks.

Also, tomorrow's soup is homemade mixed vegetable and it's pretty good.
Distraction and perspective are the only things keeping me from running into heavy traffic right now. They should have called our species Homo Oblivious.

We’re back home now and I want to slowly begin sharing pics from our trip to Oahu. On our second full day there, still jet-lagged, hubs and I took an Uber out of Waikiki, and we went to the Hoʻomaluhia botanical garden. We hiked around for a few hours. Stunning views, incredible plants & birds. 1/3

Here we are! I’ve paid myself my first salary today. When I started this little adventure, I never imagined I’d reach this point. It feels a bit weird to be paid for something I genuinely enjoy doing.
