tried to connect to IRC as i do every morning but the server seems to be down... or gone? and I don't even know who to ask about its status.

Where can i learn about 1859-60 and the year before the states knew enough to call it a civil war? At what point did they recognize the signs, and was it already too late to stop it? MTG might get her "national divorce" and the West coast will split away and "Calexit" ramps up, amicably, sure.
What this country really needs in this moment is more YouTubers uploading videos with the title, “CIVIL WAR AHEAD??”

my monthly healthcare payment worked fine online until their new website overhaul. I fill in fields, submit, see a Welcome screen which immediately returns me to the login screen. I now pay by phone. And no link to web support.

Does "rendition" cover all expulsions or just forced exile into the custody of a foreign government and/or prison? If you cannot walk off the plane as a free citizen returned to your home country, you have not been deported but kidnapped.
We need to stop calling this "deportation." Deportation is when you return someone who is not supposed to be here (as determined after due process) to their country of origin. What the Trump administration is doing is kidnapping and human trafficking!

His name (both birth and chosen) isn't Peter and he's not Roman (as far as i can tell) so i guess we pushed the End Times down the road for now. Saint Malachy's prophecy of the Popes has some wiggle room just before the end, if you still want to believe.

On a rare visit to B&N, i found a book. Looked in memoirs but it was shelved in true-crime section; it's really both, and it's really good! I like the structure, the pacing, the descriptive prose. I'm only ~60 pages in, and bracing myself for the darkness ahead, willing to bear witness.

On a rare visit to B&N, i found a book. Looked in memoirs but it was shelved in true-crime section; it's really both, and it's really good! I like the structure, the pacing, the descriptive prose. I'm only ~60 pages in, and bracing myself for the darkness ahead, willing to bear witness.
"by definition" is implied but maybe should be written into its charter. If the government is making a profit from ANY of its services, it would be a hidden tax on its citizens, not a goal of the institution.
