Hadn't played a game since summer 2024, after the mass layoff a Phoenix Labs (thanks Timberborn for keeping me sane at that time! 🥲). This Christmas break I decided to play The Knightling, and it is so good!! Check it out if you love the PS2 action-adventure games era vibe!

Who said there was no Fall colors in SoCal? This is the Santa Margarita River Trail Preserve! We spent the afternoon exploring the trail and making some small boats with the kiddos. I used to be so depressed in France when it was the fall season, but here it just means more gold and copper colors! 🧡

Such a great sum up of the homelessness crisis in the US. A must watch.
For decades, we've been fed the same lie: homelessness is the fault of the homeless. And that lie is what lets pundits and politicians openly push for camps, crackdowns, and even killing unhoused people, instead of facing the reality of why millions can't afford a home.

Yes, so much!!! Also it's already such a struggle sometimes for ND & autistic folks to write a concise descriptive text! Whether it's the post itself or the alt text, it generally takes me a half hour to find the right words (in addition to the translation when English isn't our 1st language).
Hey, instead of yelling at people about not using Alt text, if it's really important with you, post the alt text in comments.
Accessibility is important, yes, but let's not forget that people have different levels of energy to provide them.

i think the accessibility features on bluesky are great but because i don't use the platform often, i always forget they're there. whenever i post my art, i post the same thing on all my socials at the same time, so it's a lot of copypasting.
