I was so confused by 2 hours of @nicollewallace.bsky.social with no mention of the Shameful 8 that I actually had to check to see that I wasn't watching a rerun from Friday. What the actually hell, @msnbc.com

Thank you @mintimm.bsky.social for saying on @nicollewallace.bsky.social show that this brutality IS our history. Even after WWII, Eisenhower pulled Latinos off the street - many who were citizens - in the racist named Operation W--back.

What we are going through now is the sequel to “Atlas Shrugged.” In which the “parasites” fight back.

All the anti-genocide college students who didn't vote to teach Democrats a lesson sure taught us, didn't they. No more protests for us.

Come on, @barbmcquade.bsky.social it wasn’t a “gaping hole” in Charlie Kirk’s neck. The shooter hit his carotid artery, where blood pumps (and pulse can be felt). This made the blood gush. And the gun was a bolt action hunting rifle. Not a semiautomatic.

Agree. It's Katy Tur who should be fired. Not #MatthewDowd for speaking the truth. Violent rhetoric breeds violence. Stop being wooses, @msnbc.com
I stand with Matthew Dowd.

This week, I wrote about how public radio fails to see its own racism, as a microcosm of the bigger problem in media.

@slotkin.senate.gov also said the arguments STILL going on behind closed doors is whether or not Trump is a #threattodemocracy or whether Dems can wait him out. She thinks he's a threat. I am STUNNED at the stupidity of Dem leaders who think it's business as usual.
Elissa @slotkin.senate.gov on @msnbc.com Deadline Whitehouse proposes to fix housing by deregulation. Never mentions raising min. wage, much less that it needs to be $30/hour. Nothing on raising childcare tax credit. Nothing on more $$ to people. Reaganomics all the way. @nicollewallace.bsky.social

I started listening to #SistersInLaw b/c I believed
@joycewhitevance.bsky.social @kimberlyeatkins.bsky.social @jillwine-banks.bsky.social @barbmcquade.bsky.social
would show us how the rule of law would stop a dictator. I can’t listen anymore as they pretend the rule of law still exists. 1/

I don't know who I'm more disgusted at - the people who stayed home in 2024 or the people currently who think that the tipping point to fascism hasn't already happened. Both groups are delusional. And likely why 40 years of this creeping fascism has gone unchecked.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE to @groundnews.bsky.social. I was told it was a good source for us to know what the right is seeing that the left is not and vice versa. It does that. But there is no effort to give context. And by repeating lies in a "both sides" stature, it's actually doing more harm. STOP.

I'm always confused that @maddow.msnbc.com lets her colleagues mispronounce her name. She says it with a long O.

I simultaneously am furious at all Jews and Palestinian supporters who fell for the propaganda that led so many people not to vote and the DEMOCRATS who were more concerned with what CEOs think than what people think. STAND FOR SOMETHING #DNC_Stand_UP

Come on Atlantic, stop both sidesing! Yes, it is bad to gerrymander. But it's not equally bad if Dems respond to cheating by fighting fire with fire. It's like a basketball coach putting six people on the court and the other coach saying, "I will just play by the rules."
A Political Game Could Redefine Voting in America
A push by Texas Republicans for a rare mid-decade gerrymander threatens to set off a vicious cycle.

Question for #SistersInLaw. Is there someone who is keeping track of all the decisions Trump has made that likely wouldn't have been made if SCOTUS had ruled differently on immunity? This would include rulings by SCOTUS on his EOs, but also things like allowing ICE to wear masks, tariffs, etc.

“Freedom” came to be defined as “unregulated greed.” Those who wanted to ensure government worked for the good of the people came to be defined as “snowflakes.”

I was briefed on the intelligence last week.

Iran posed no imminent threat of attack to the United States. Iran was not close to building a deliverable nuclear weapon. The negotiations Israel scuttled with their strikes held the potential for success.

Very frustrating to hear @chrislhayes.bsky.social talk about Musk as having "failed" b/c he didn't cut federal spending. Cutting spending was just his excuse. His smoke screen. Musk succeed in his mission: getting our data and sharing it with Putin.

Oh for fuck’s sake @lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com producers. Getting the correct state for a senator you’re interviewing is just basic. How the hell do people get hired for these positions? #Nevada

Great idea for @weeknightmsnbc.bsky.social to put Indiana Republican Victoria Sparks on tonight to talk about Medicaid. It was good to hear. Don't fully agree with her, but she's not wrong about the waste in Medicaid and how Congress is broken. 1/

Chemistry is weird. I had no idea when these three were put together in an ungodly hour in the morning Pacific time that I would be taping and watching four hours of these three riffing on each other each weekend. Agreeing out loud. Laughing. Becoming addicted. Now they on at night. Love this.
