Shell is a #CorporateClimateCriminal and symbol of a fossil fuel economy built on violence and extraction. It's part of a system that we're resisting as we build a future that centres life

Say goodbye to 1.5°C. But remember, the next target is 1.51°C and not 2°C. We need to keep fighting.

Every tonne of CO₂ emitted makes the job of future CO₂ removal harder, and every 0.01°C of temperature increase makes the world more chaotic and dangerous.

The Scottish Government now doesn't have a Climate Minister.

John Swinney has removed 'climate' and 'just transition' from Ministerial titles since he became First Minister a year ago.

His Gov't has also scrapped annual targets & ditched key climate policies - making clear his priorities.

Nor if you wanted to cut emissions as fairly as possible, and support people rather than fossil fuel bosses
I’ve got to say it: cutting the Warm Homes Plan but funding nuclear and carbon capture is not how you’d prioritise if you were trying to reduce carbon emissions as quickly as possible

Just a reminder that the Scottish Government could raise up to £30m a year to invest in climate action that'd benefit us all if it landed a no-brainer tax on pollution-spewing private jets.

The First Minister says he backs the idea, but so far the idea remains stuck on the runway...
