Please know that I’ve been mentally referring to this app as “blue-ski” this entire time and I don’t think I can stop now.
One of the funniest Hollywood trends is every prestige actress needing to do at least one movie where she plays the trashy girlfriend of a boxer/mixed martial artist

Just a note to all foreign-language film distributors that if you could stop putting white subtitles on light backgrounds, that would be great!!

There was one storyline in Zootopia 2 that genuinely made me cry and then a whole lot of forgettable sequel stuff too
Zootopia 2 is a stagnant sequel with one stellar subplot
Disney seems less invested in Zootopia 2, churning out a sequel that feels more like a Disney+ TV show than an animated epic.

Not to toot my own horn, but if I were in a Pluribus situation, I feel like I would do a much better job of asking questions.

I put my theater degree to good use to talk about what Wicked: For Good changed from the stage show—and more importantly, what it didn’t
Spoiler Space: Was Wicked changed for good?
The second half of the musical has always been weak. Splitting it into Wicked and Wicked: For Good only made it more obvious.

The craziest thing about the Wicked movies is that I'm finally learning the lyrics I've been mishearing for 20+ years

Wicked: For Good isn't exactly "Wonderful," but at least Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo linger like a handprint on your heart. My review!
The bubble bursts in ‘Wicked: For Good’
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are the reason to return to Oz in this lesser sequel

One of the weird side effects of how memory-holed the George W. Bush presidency has become is people thinking the political critiques of Wicked are accidentally relevant to our current political climate and not pointedly aimed at another horrifying administration.

Huge news for me personally, the world’s foremost new Jumanji fan. Bethany forever!
Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Dwayne Johnson, and Jack Black on the set of the third #JumanjiMovie.

In theaters Christmas 2026.

There’s nothing more jarring than when Jon M. Chu randomly decides a lyric doesn’t have to match the action happening onscreen. That’s not how musicals works…

Hmm, maybe a mistake to wear mascara on the day I do a double feature of Hamnet and Wicked: For Good…

It’s time we all admit the Shakira Zootopia song is the great song ever made.

I was thoroughly charmed by how much the cast of Now You See Me: Now You Don't clearly loves making these movies. I forgot blockbuster franchises could feel like that
The greatest trick of Now You See Me: Now You Don't is that its cast actually seems to like these movies
Sincerity and goofiness push the stuffed third entry Now You See Me: Now You Don't closer to the Fast & Furious franchise—and that rocks.

This is what male solidarity & collective action to oppress women looks like:

Artist Andres Serrano--successful, but nowhere near the same class as Thiel & other billionaires in the files--stating that he'll vote for Trump, despite his politics, out of *sympathy* with T's sexual assaults on women.

Pretty bleak how relieved I felt that my ACA health insurance premiums are *only* going to double, instead of anything worse than that.

Read every word & share with everyone you know. This is real life here in Chicago. Americans need to know this grotesque reality & stand with us.
Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

you can win without party leadership endorsing you

you can win unapologetically standing with every persecuted minority pundits say are too politically toxic to touch

we could do everything about this process differently if we wanted to
Can’t stop thinking about all the robber baron fucks that held secret meetings and spent MILLIONS AND MILLIONS in bribes and campaign investments and attack ads and media manipulation trying to tank Mamdani currently having the dawning realization that their money is completely and utterly useless.
