The part about the headlights is all too true.
I wish we, like, regulated shit nowadays. Between car bloat, blinding headlines, and neighbourhoods packed with rental suites but no on-property parking, driving is an absolute nightmare now.
Nearly all drivers say vehicles' lights are too bright in study
The study, commissioned by the Department for Transport, was completed by Berkshire's TRL.

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

If only we could be as motivated and excited about voting out the Republicans as we are about primarying and ousting the Democrats.

I think there are an additional 52 Senators we should also be eager to vote out.

If the budget vote debacle has you thinking about switching your party registration, please check on how that will affect your ability to vote in primaries in your state first. The National Conference of State Legislatures has a good rundown of this: www.ncsl.org/elections-an...

Also in case its not being mentioned in your feed, there is still a remaining vote for this and Somehow they didn't anticipate the outrage, so there's apparently some hesitation now.

If those were your senators, call them and don't stop. I will also be calling even though they arent mine
Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

No matter how they voted last night, every one of them has a say in maintaining Chuck Schumer and Dick Durbin as their caucus leaders. Every one of them is accountable here.

These are the senators at risk of caving.

Please call them - especially if you live in their state. Please tell them to not cave until you get guarantees on healthcare. (Not just empty promises from Rs)

What was the point in all this if Dems cave now without any guarantees?
Chuck Schumer and friends. #DoNotCave Red alert. Call these Senators.

This is horrific. If you live in MA or VA, please call your Senators and governors. If you are in the relevant district, call your House and state reps. If you are in Everett, call the mayor.
ICE kidnapped a 7th-grader with a pending asylum claim and spirited him out of state without notifying his parents, seemingly with the cooperation of the local police in Everett, MA.

This Election Day may seem unimportant because there are no “big” offices on the ballot but many states hold their nonpartisan municipal elections in off years. Races for city council, school boards, county judgeships are VITALLY important to the day to day functions of your community! Participate!

But it's too late. That story is all around the country and the world. Most who have read it will not see the update.

Thanks, WSJ.

Those of us in academic professional or scholarly organizations should make sure we do not hold any future meetings or conferences at Brown or any other school capitulating to anti-trans bullshit. Our members' basic rights and safety have to come first.
The Trump administration effectively created a de facto bathroom ban at Brown University and none of the major media is covering it, and if they do, they character it as about sports. This is how the trans visa ban was enacted and characterized.

“Everyone I talked to thought it only applied to sports. But it applies to everything," one transgender student told The Advocate.
