Here we go again.

Sensationalist headlines. Unproven causal links. And unclear migration figures based on shaky proxies.

🧵 Here’s the 2 big problems with the FT's new report…

1⃣They don’t really know how many left.
2⃣They have no idea why they left.

There is no strict Constitutional amendment against having sex with minors, being blackmailed about it, murdering the person who is blackmailing you, and then altering the videotape of the murder. So it's hard to see why some on the left are so upset with Trump right now.

My 3 year-old was reading the Times when he turned to me, gravely, and asked: "Daddy, why did the senator ask mean questions to the nice plastic surgery lady?" And when I told him "because that lady pledged to liberate LA from socialists," he started crying.

NEW from me: China's CO2 emissions fell ~1.6% in the first quarter and have now been flat or down for more than a year. This is the first time on record that emissions are falling due to clean energy growth, not slow power demand.

Was looking for a remark of Wittgenstein's, about the "…" in a series not being of laziness.

Thought maybe Claude'll know.

Started well. Gave a quote, with a reference, that was right. Then started making stuff up. It was like reading a late-night, last-minute, undergraduate essay.
