I didn't think I'd be getting back to her before the New Year, but here she is, all done! I'm not used to painting in any medium, so it was a good learning experience (begone, lineart brain). I think it's an ok attempt though!

I love this boy! He's a Vanara Cleric (PF2E) I'd planned to have character art of my boisterous lad done ages ago. Being tagged was a great reminder!
He's from a village of Vanara on Casmaron, but some bad stuff happened (would it be a TTRPG OC if it didn't?) and now he's in the adventurers life!

When I first moved to PF a year ago and saw "Ancestries" there was a moment of "oh, so games *can* be less weird about that, D&D is just *choosing* to be weird about it." Always hated the descriptor, it's so 18th century
All you #ttrpg folks saying "this is a ten year old story (I think that's when Pathfinder wen t with Ancestries) and exists only to curry favor with creepy conservative culture warriors by making them feel seen" should then understand this vibe extends to pretty much all NYT articles at this point.

This may be an "old woman yells at cloud" moment, but I genuinely do miss when a game just released fully and that was it. No extra DLC content, no micro transactions, etc. Just buying the game and you get the ENTIRE experience in box.
