Thinking back fondly to my early 20s when I was a filmmaker. A shitty one, and definitely working from an indoctrinated worldview, but excited and being creative and collaborating. I just love movies and I miss that kind of work.

I’m up through Chapter V of Book 2 and holy hell, THIS is what I want from a sequel to The Gunslinger.
Next up on the reading list, finally, is Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass. My enthusiasm for the series has waned since the excellent first and second books but I hear much enthusiasm for book 4 so let’s dive back in.

It took a long while of corporate drudgery and raising small kids, but I think the personal drive to design games of any kind is either finally dead or starving in an unfinished basement somewhere.
