I oppose name-calling, but how long does it take people to note the intense irony of Trump calling out an individual as a “liar,” a “fraud,” or “scum”? In the long term, the Trump name will be synonymous with the names he dishes out.

Buried deep in the text of the more than 1,000-page bill is a measure to restrict the federal courts’ authority to hold officials in contempt if they violate court orders.
Hidden Threat to Democracy Slipped Into Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful’ Bill
The bill passed in the House included a provision restricting the courts’ ability to enforce orders.

They’re not “deporting” people, they’re kidnapping them and sending them to foreign prisons. Concentration camps. They’re paying these countries to imprison humans. It’s human trafficking.

The turnout in small towns across the country has been incredible drawing crowds of thousands. We’re already seeing over one million in attendance nationwide, and events are still underway. Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Ohio all had especially surprising showings.

Personally, I think it should be front page news for at least a month if a sitting US President is using falsified evidence to try and deny due process to a man who has committed no crime, but that’s just me

How very base Trump is, spewing any idea that comes to his hate-filled mind when he wakes up or can’t sleep. Thank God people are beginning to see. You might call it …. the base energizing the electorate.

Sunday show Trumpers’ script re tariffs: “We are pummeled by other countries!” Um, if this is such a horrible reality, why didn’t Trump address during his first administration?

Has anyone else noticed that Trump’s physiognomy is changing? He’s beginning to look like an SNL parody of himself. Very Dorian Grey! Eerie!

Appalled by law firms capitulating. Threats based on personal revenge aren’t protected by immunity. If DT announced he’d pull SecLevs on all lawyers who refused to cut off their index and middle fingers (thereby preventing them from making peace sign), would DT be immune?
April 2, 2025 at 6:48 PM
Hold that name, DT! Trump team must have missed the book. Literary genius George Saunders’ 2022 book titled “Liberation Day” includes story of an elder describing how Americans lost their fundamental freedoms by making small concessions to an authoritarian gov’t.

Sen. Booker’s speech was a substantive and moral account of this moment. He did not read the phone book. He did not babble.
For 24 hours @booker.senate.gov laid out a detailed, damning, and critical narrative of truth, history, politics, morality, humanity.

What will you do?

Educators, law firms and others are being targeted and threatened for FOLLOWING THE LAW! The election — won on slim margin — didn’t give DT free rein to change est’d law. His vendettas are motivated by personal revenge and hatred. They must be resisted lest chaos grow an even wider path.

Sad for democracy, and also sad on human level, where Musk offers million-dollar jackpots for “voting” like a kid who brings candy to grade school in the hopes that might buy friends.
