Mike Johnson closed the House down early to avoid a vote on extending ACA tax credits. Nice try, Mike—all that does is give us more time to rally up support.

Let's get loud as hell, folks, and make sure every member of Congress knows where we stand:

Just over a half hour later, reports show Musk deleted the tweet.

Greenland is his assignment from the president. He must be very jealous of Musk, cause dad gave him a much bigger job to do and he’s obviously the favorite.

Hegseth, Waltz and company texting war plans to a reporter on signal is just the tip of the iceberg. This whole administration is full of incompetent, inexperienced, and unqualified clowns. Our national security is compromised in ways we’re just beginning to understand.

I’m so tired of people giving into his bullying. Paul Weiss and now Columbia. I guess money is more important than principles but both of those institutions could handle a financial hit.

It is legal to criticize the president. It is legal to criticize the president's actions. It is legal to criticize the president's advisors. It is legal and patriotic and the blood of a healthy society to hold those in power accountable, and even to mock them. Remember it.
Trump at the DOJ: "I believe that CNN and MSNDC, who literally write 97.6% bad about me, are political arms of the Democrat Party. And in my opinion, they are really corrupt and they are illegal. What they do is illegal."

You can put all Trump‘s acts into 1 of 4 buckets: 1. Revenge 2. Personal enrichment 3. Payback to those who got him elected. 4. Crazy shit he does just because he can. Some things go into more than one bucket. He doesn’t really care about policy. He doesn’t really believe in anything beyond himself.

Black excellence: Twice as qualified, half as respected, and still passed over or labeled as a ‘DEI hire.’

Black folks have always known this because we’ve seen it happen to our own family members. I know I have.

The DEI caused the plane crash narrative is a distraction. The tariffs are a distraction. Whatever insane nonsense Trump spews that the media will chase like cats chasing a laser light is a distraction. The only story that counts right now is the wholesale hijacking of control of the US government.

I just went back to Facebook, thanks to Mark Elias’s urging that we use our social media spaces to advocate for our democracy. I do have more MAGA followers there, thanks to my high school friends and relatives. As Mark says, those spaces are our public square, and we need to use them.

Never used it much, but I just deleted my TikTok account. When I logged in to delete it, Trump’s speech was live, and he was railing about the vicious ____ something or another, which I don’t know what because I got the fuck out. 😂. Seemed like a really uniting speech though.

A little convo I had with a MAGA supporter. This is the type of people we are dealing with. No small amount of his supporters suffer from mental illness, I do believe.

The Supreme Court ruled corporations were allowed to donate unlimited amounts to politicians in 2010.

It only took them 6 years to take complete control of the government and 15 years to mark sure their voices are the only ones the masses ever hear again.
