This weekend I stood with Eugene leaders to say we know that the Trump’s aggressive ICE tactics are creating fear. They are tearing families apart, and, as we’ve seen, taking lives. It’s wrong, it’s not American, it’s immoral. We, as Oregonians, stand together and say no to that.

I just met with four of my constituents who are being held at the Tacoma ICE facility. They are not “the worst of the worst”. I will be following up with lawyers and maintaining direct contact so that they do not get lost in our broken immigration system.
