Ford just put every renter in Ontario into an even more precarious position. This is a clear and present danger to the 1.7 million renters in Ontario.
In particular, they want leases to no longer necessarily remain in effect indefinitely, so that landlords have more options for creating tenant turnover.

It was drawn to my attention today by a CBC reporter that Sylvia Jones has apparently issued a statement claiming that there has been a 41% decrease in overdose deaths since the safe consumption sites were closed. I found this hard to believe, so I looked at the figures from the Chief Coroner.

The Convoy has always tried to portray itself as a spontaneous group of patriotic Canadians. In truth, while not a fine tuned operation, it has always been the result of a network of far-right grifters and influences that tried multiple times to get an operation like the ‘22 event off the ground.
