Cardigan town and pedestrians.
They Don’t want 20mph and don’t want pedestrianisation.
Always thought It would be good to have traffic free zones in town.

Pembrokeshire Lamb In Flight.
I thought I could see a small white fleece in the 2nd field behind home and yes, it was a lamb.
The lights fading and had to take the shot looking through the double glazed door.
It’s a long way away and needed the 1,200mm lens

PM says peer (his former communications chief) did not give 'full account' over links to sex offender.

"He lied" excuse was used for Mandelson and is wheeled out again.

Does no one google, read press, double check anything?

Who is ultimately held responsible?

Wes Streeting still ready to challenge Starmer despite show of unity, allies say.

He had majority of just over 500 votes in the last election.

He would take Labour further to the right. Funded by healthcare companies, handing the NHS to corporations and private equity.

Given Wes Streeting's links with Mandelson and Palantir, both stronger than Starmer's, the question MPs ought really to be asking themselves is, if we replace Starmer with Streeting are we hopping out of the frying pan and into the fire?

Banning cyclists from roads over 25mph — with criminal penalties, even imprisonment — would have been one of the worst laws in history. Active travel saves lives, improves health and cuts congestion. Focus on the real risk: dangerous driving. Cyclists cause under 1% of fatal crashes.

Multimillionaire Brexiter, Tim Martin, urges pubs to back Reform. Just like he urged the country to vote for Brexit. Too bad if it makes you poorer. Too bad for the children he’ll push back into poverty. Tim wants more money. And he couldn’t give a shit about the cost for everybody else.

'I don’t find anything coming out in the news surprising - but I am curious about what happens next. Many know that the world’s in a mess because of wealthy people pulling politicians’ strings. Many have had enough. It’s up to us now what we do. I wonder if a movement will now start, to push back. '

UK has regressive taxes.

National Insurance is no exception. Employees pay 8% on earnings between £12,570 and £50,270, and 2% on earnings above £50,270.

Net result is that basic rate taxpayers pay higher proportion of their income in NIC than those on higher incomes.

No govt listens to the people
National Insurance is a regressive tax that hits the less well-off hardest
Compared to income tax, national insurance contributions attract little sustained scrutiny even though they provide large amounts to the public purse.
