It is. Cleared the snow and ice off part of the drive and then, we had a load slide of the roof so back to square one.

Reports of black ice on local group posts and honestly, it’s not worth trying to drive.
We can’t get to the lane up to the village. Its icy, uphill and the BMW (without winter tyres) is useless.

Chilly with wall to wall 🌞 and very nice.
After a strength and conditioning session this morning, shower, light breakfast and off to the coast path to the beach for a walk plus, lunch at the Catrock.

After all the Rouvy Racing and missing out on two reasonable days we had this week, I managed to get the winter wheels and tyres plus mudguards fitted for our muddy, wet and gravelly lanes.
Loved it!
Look out for the Land Rover that’s shrunk in all that rain!

40 completed the race with a further 20 DNF.
My big gripe is when I gap riders on the climbs, most come past me on the downhills so I need a 55 tooth chainring! That’ll show them!

so jumped onto a Rouvy race this morning and missed the start by 2 minutes. Idiot!

The bridge is damaged from the tree so will be closed for some time.
