Penny’s really looking forward to welcoming Isaac Herzog, though.
Israel should be expelled from the UN.

This week, Israeli forces stormed and destroyed the UNRWA headquarters in East Jerusalem after forcing UN staff out at gunpoint.

This is a sustained attack on the primary international agency keeping Palestinian refugees alive.

If you do one thing today and one thing only, make it reading this thread and then sending it everyone you know.
1. This short thread is about the issue that dominates almost every aspect of politics, and causes or exacerbates most of our problems: the extreme wealth of a small number of people. Here’s the amazing thing: almost the entire political class aligns with the ultra-rich against the rest. 🧵1/10

Scoop: One of the first acts of Australia's new anti-corruption watchdog, NACC, was to carry out $30 million of office fit-outs.

It was only when staff were preparing the agency's first annual report that they realised the project broke laws meant to fight... corruption.

Amazing when you have a system that lets the private sector deliver a public service it gets rorted.

Grog’s Rule: When you privatise public services be sure to also allocate space in a few years for the Royal Commission into abuses in the system.
Weird that it’s turning out to be the providers, not the recipients, ripping off the NDIS.

It’s almost as if the Morrison government was so incompetent that it’s taken three years of organised work to clean it up. Incompetent and/or corrupt.

Australian officials are currently trying to scheme up ways to sneak the president of Israel into the country for a visit without him getting confronted by massive anti-genocide protests.

Read that again.

When you are doing things like this, you're on the wrong side of history.

The world is being held hostage to the whims of the smallest micro man who has ever walked on this earth.
Trump sent this letter to the Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in regards of not getting a Nobel...

Honestly at this point in time they should announce that the Epstein Victims will receive a Special Nobel prize.

1. These are concentration camps, whose purpose is ethnic cleansing and state terror.

2. Democrats not calling to abolish ICE are complicit with fascists.

3. Any govt who fails to condemn the Trump regime's behaviour at home and abroad is complicit with fascists.

That's you @albomp.bsky.social.
This is the sixth death in ICE custody in 18 days. This isn’t enforcement, it’s a system that cages people, outsources care, and shrugs when they die. Abolish ICE.

Hard to reconcile the ICE account being here.

People are banned for threats, but ICE can shoot completely innocent people dead, commit countless acts of violence, break the law, yet still be allowed here?

There's something fundamentally wrong with that.

It's not like there's shortage of evidence.

This is remarkable.

More remarkable in light of current events is that the Australian government has not updated this since 19 November.

Compare this with some of the places the Australian government ranks as requiring a high degree of caution.

Total negligence and cowardice.

Imagine a political ideology so evil, so despised, so racist and murderous, so globally unpopular - but also so entrenched in Western establishment depravity - that your government (with the opposition), would seek to make criticism and protest of it illegal. Imagine that.

I can just see it now too - one way or another, the ABC will cave to this.

It won’t be today or tomorrow and it won’t be direct in the same way that for example Antoinette Lattouf was.

But I’d bet my bottom dollar the ABC will eventually penalise or sideline Lyons and Tingle.

The one rule that always hold true for these far right pieces of shit is that they also possess the glassiest of jaws.

They actively seek to destroy the world for everyone who isn’t rich, white and male, but a widdle expletive makes them piss their pants.

They are the absolute smallest of men.
Unbelievable. I told the Sky News guy to fuck off with his questions and now *that* is the story.
