I cannot believe I ever once thought this guy was worth reading or taking notice of.

That’s it Jacinta, lock up a few 14 year olds for twenty years and the media will stop manufacturing a crime crisis.

So-called ‘left’ parties like the ALP, Labour (NZ and UK) and the Democrats in the US just refuse to learn - leaning into this stuff NEVER works.

It’s also socially regressive.

So I have the 2002 National Geographic World Reference Atlas on my bookshelf; it was given to me when I was 14.

I now have it for the purposes of educating my own two children. Tonight, my six year-old daughter brought it over to have a look.

Check out this map of Australia on page 194.

Who remembers that time a County Court judge wished this utter piece of shit good luck and said he had good chances of rehabilitation less than two years ago after they attacked six bushwalkers? I sure remember.

Another day, another Australian media outlet framing housing affordability getting worse as a positive thing.

Good to see the NYT tackling the really important and pressing issues at this moment in their country’s - and world - history.

Albanese is pretty much this.

Recently my 6 year old daughter asked how the earth’s round when it appears flat in books.

Excellent question for a 6 year old.

Tried to use something relatable by googling the flight she knows her mum and took years ago from Chile to Melbourne, to show her great circle flight paths. Got this:

Google AI is such slop.

Got this googling the Santiago to Melbourne (or vice versa) flight. That flight’s route is one of the best illustrations of Great Circle navigation and how the earth isn’t flat.

But if you took the highlighted at face value, you’d think the precise opposite. Utter bullshit.

In case there was any doubt about this by the way (there wasn’t)

It cannot be emphasised enough what an absolutely turbocharged moron Peter Dutton is.

Like, really read that quote a few times and let what a complete ornament to narrow minded boneheadedness it is, wash over you.

Latika Bourke gushing about a federal politician of 24 years’ experience pulling off the wondrous feat of not reading from a script when speaking publicly.

She really is the James Massola of Joe Hildebrands.

Even though the response doesn’t actually send - cathartic.

Hey chat, is making voting more accessible and giving people more choice in exercising their right - and obligation - to vote a bad thing now?
April 23, 2025 at 12:02 AM
Pretty simple rule here folks - don’t go to the US. Boycott the shit out of the place.

Really not sure how this cretin still calls himself a journalist.

Let’s cut to the chase.

If you read a headline like this and are not horrified and chilled to your very core, there is something very wrong with you.

The depravity and cruelty of fascists knows no bounds. Never, ever assume we’ve seen the limit to how hideous they will be.
March 11, 2025 at 2:27 AM
This has become so utterly absurd. McCarthyism ft. 2025.

There is not a single other county - not one - that would be afforded this bizarre protection racket. Not even this one.

And it’s only possible because of supine, sellout pissant politicians like this.

Nothing is too ridiculous anymore.

Musk is the most dangerous person in the world. And it’s not close anymore either.

Also…never before has AUKUS been a more dangerous prospect for Australia than right now. And this was so foreseeable…and yet here we are. Stumbling blindly into disaster.
