third time knitting! didn’t realize that the cast on row already counts as the first row, thats why my top and bottom borders are all uneven

first cake in the new tube pan! look at how TALL she is 🥹
this one’s another mocha chiffon. need to figure out why the cake top is always more spongey, might be because of the humidity or because the oven died when i put the cake in (probably the main culprit tbh 😔)

also posting the thing i knitted the other night while waiting for the big typhoon to come. used evil evil acrylic yarn that made my wrist hurt trying to wrestle with it

finally got a 6in chiffon tube pan today! and its a TALL one!
took me a while to get one because i could only find regular 3in height pans on the apps. very happy i found 10cm tall pans after months of searching (like even before i started baking chiffon)

made an earl grey chiffon today
only had tea bags so it didn’t have enough earl grey flavor. next time i’ll try opening up an extra tea bag and mixing in the leaves (might need to grind them too). this one was still yummy though! still bad for my gallstones!
