I can’t help but feel that one of Derek B greatest achievements as a weather broadcaster has been to popularise and familiarise the good people of #Pembrokeshire with the concept of the Dangler!

I had this as an Xmas present, it’s worth reading & has some good anecdotes, but it’s much more a career autobiography than a history.
On several occasions, he explains unnamed people asked him to write stories for a specific purpose. I found that illuminating, but not surprising with hindsight.
