I would like to thank my family & also the good people of #Holt, Wrexham & #Farndon, Cheshire, without whose timely support, I don’t think I would’ve completed the #ChesterMarathon today, my first ever attempt at that distance (& probably my last!). Huge thanks to the amazing race volunteers too!

Never normally watch golf. I don’t play it, apart from a bit of pitch & putt & crazy golf on holiday, & never take any interest in it

’ve only picked up on this today. It’ll be interesting to see how this affect our Nations League campaign. Instinctively, it feels like a longer time together could benefit the national team - but I expect plenty of moaning from some people about it!

I’ve been in Germany for about a week for the first time in years. There’s a lot to admire but one thing I’ve been surprised about is that you can still buy fags from machines. We banned fag machines in Wales years ago to block a route by which underage teenagers & kids could buy cigarettes.

Parc y Scarlets is a bit of a shambles. Closed the stadium car park at kick off (I was late), so directed me to another car park down the road. But the stadium gates from that direction were locked! Then run out of food at half time!

The Belgian fans I spoke to on the metro post-game last night were politely irritated that we got back into the game from 3-0 down:
“You just do not stop!”
I’ll take that as a back-handed complement any day!
