I also swerved the World Cup draw yesterday, because we’re not in it (yet, hopefully🤞) and it was obviously just going to be a platform for that odious orange man - but an hour and a half of old bollocks before the actual draw is undoubtedly a record!
So the Village People *actually* played at the WC draw yesterday and it wasn't satire

I’d still rather any of these than going to Stoke!!

(Or Fochrhiw, or Hakin!!)

✈️ The phase "Can they do it on a wet and windy night in Stoke" has become common football parlance for an unpleasant away day.

But it pales in comparison to some of the other tricky trips in football. From woeful weather to climate disasters, here are 6 you should know!

A tiny crack in a spacecraft window triggered China’s first-ever emergency launch to Tiangong space station. A CCTV article reveals what happened over 20 intense days, and why a piece of space debris smaller than 1 mm forced the emergency response.

Trevor Ford got a hatrick in the 1949 game - the first of which is the second goal recorded here. Plenty of uncompromising(!) play on the Belgian keeper from “Fiery” Ford captured on film here too!

Great find that Neil👍

Sitting down for a Cymru rugby match for the first time in I don’t know how long.

You can’t fault the WRU’s pre-match production values, just a shame the on-field product doesn’t match it!

Do they mic up the choirs because they don’t trust the crowd? And Metallica because…?

Please, please, please, can we have a Wales XI match away here??!?

It’s the 150th anniversary of the FAW next year & there were rumours of glamour friendlies next March. Obviously we’ll be in the playoffs then, but this would be the best meaningless friendly ever!

The #WelshCup is great for upsets and any win over TNS is a good win!

Penybont, Caernarfon, the Met & Colwyn Bay will all see the Cup as a great chance to finally bag some actual silverware now!!

There are plenty of Tier 2 & 3 teams still in the competition too.
Connah's Quay Nomads and TNS out of the Welsh Cup. Massive.
