I live in a suburban Dodge Durango-ass town created as a white flight carve-out and dems won every seat on the council last night. Turns out people are only conservative when it has no impact on them personally.

Recently became aware of a phenomenon in FB groups where the same 5-10 posts are posted and reposted by oddball accounts with join dates of just a few days before the current one. This was a history of Louisiana group and I can't figure out why- only one of the posts is vaguely political and the

A girl who liked me made me a copy of this in 1990 and I told her I thought it was "too dancey- like guido music" and you know what? I stand by that despite the fact that within 20 years almost every industrial band from this era went edm. I am still insufferable now as I was as a 14 year old.
Released on this day in 1989, "Pretty Hate Machine" is the debut album by #NineInchNails.

Love my parents but i think that they would know by now that i know what a castle and a Game of Thrones is but i don't know what GaTh Castle is. It's like when my dad asked for a Dunder Mifflin item for Christmas and i couldnt figure out why he wanted swag from a paper company

I don't have the patience for people who are really cynical about The No Kings rallies. Sometimes it's enough to know that you're not alone. Also, the most cynical people about it are the most miserable internet addicts.

Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" is like anti-music to me. I always thought the song was for 12-14 year olds and to have Cash cover it was a pathetic cash grab.

I'd like to credit Dr. Omaha Boy at Rutgers University for instilling in me a lifelong love of learning about native American history and the National Museum of the American Indian for teaching me how native American communities keep their traditions alive. Happy #IndigenousPeoplesDay

The Alamo's post about the opening of an exhibit about the history of indigenous people who lived in the region is going about as well as you'd expect.
