I see the athletic is doing its quarterly “stop accessing streams” propaganda. Maybe, just maybe, if fans were not getting ripped off left right and centre for 3 or 4 subscriptions & companies with rights actually showed every game they can, folk might not do it so much…

Seems the club won’t make a change. Sure it’ll be fine…but it does feel a lot like Groundhog Day though. It’s 22/23 all over again and whilst they like to pretend they weren’t around (we remember you taking a victory lap in 20/21 Paarage), the 49ers seem to have learnt Jack.

That’s a “directional defeat”… not just about the 90 minutes but about what the performance says what we’re trying to do and how well we’re doing it. Sadly, our weaknesses have become easy to exploit and our strengths, such as they are, easy to nullify. Can’t see this getting better. #lufc

I appreciate Farke has been dealt a bad hand re recruitment but there is no plan. Standard substitution when losing etc. and if we are going to make a change, surely 22/23 taught us now or never…and with Rogers unemployed…

people hate hearing this but it's 100% true, creating a huge pay gap between political leaders, their staffs, and other elites is a recipe for corruption. of course the flip side of that is taxes on the rich should be jacked way the hell up
The Mayor of New York only makes $260k. I bet there are police that make more than that in NY with overtime.
We need to pay elected leaders more money and stop pretending it's some sort of calling. They're managing hundreds of billions of dollars in investments and millions of people's lives.

To be clear: the law is draconian, I don't want to see any football fan (even Carragher) punished for setting off a smoke bomb and I'd personally like to see pyro decriminalised. But if a regular fan were caught doing what Carragher did, they'd be facing a criminal record. Many already have.
